As an organization founded by makers and tinkerers, mantro has become home to people who just do, sometimes on their own, sometimes in collaboration with companies. Over the past 17 years, mantro has worked on many different things in many areas of innovation and entrepreneurship, from traditional IT services to joint venturing with corporate clients. We have always been about building good products and companies. Our strategy was to build. This made it impossible to have a clear and focused business strategy, which inhibited the promising opportunities in the market and within mantro.
With our decision to restructure mantro, we decided to bundle our implementation expertise and speed in creating solutions in a single company. And so the mantro product studio was born.
To get things rolling, we legally founded the mantro product studio. We asked two of mantro's most experienced employees and managers to run the company and started developing innovations together with our customers. And it has worked wonderfully. The customers love the work and the company is growing at a healthy pace. Oliver Thum and Yannic Metz, both Managing Directors, focus on sustainable business growth to avoid the build-up of organizational debt that mantro has experienced in the past during periods of strong growth.
In 2022, mantro product studio grew from 5 to 30 employees. In 2023, mantro product studio wants to increase its focus on implementation and a shorter time-to-market. At the same time, the organization remains an experiment in collaborative and transparent operating models.
